Levels
LearnFrenchMalta follows a structured pathway from beginner to conversational French. Each level is divided into units and individual lessons — one key sentence pattern per lesson, up to 10 new vocabulary items, and interactive exercises you can do on screen or print.
Level 1 — Beginner Available now
A1 French for children aged 8 and up. Covers greetings, numbers, colours, classroom language, feelings, family, food, time, weather, actions, negation, and basic conversation.
Unit 1 — First Words
Greetings, sounds, classroom French, numbers 1–31, colours, feelings. (Lessons 01–11)
Unit 2 — My World
Family, food, drinks, days, months, time, weather, home. (Lessons 12–22)
Unit 3 — Actions & Negation
Verbs, hobbies, places, directions, negation, talking about others. (Lessons 23–32)
Unit 4 — Conversations
Questions, descriptions, daily routine, friend profile, review & final checkpoint. (Lessons 33–40)
